NyattoLandforX
Cats that live, play, and help you read your X timeline
NyattoLandforX is a Chrome extension that turns your X timeline into a tiny world inhabited by cats. Cats walk across posts, climb walls, jump out of quote cards, and fall asleep — while useful cues like follow status, engagement signals, and interaction history quietly appear alongside them. Everything runs locally in your browser, with no external tracking.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋🐈
I'm the solo maker behind Nyatto Land for X.
I spend a lot of time on X, and I started wondering: what if a timeline didn't have to feel like just an endless stream of posts?
So I built a Chrome extension where cats actually live inside your timeline.
They walk along posts, climb walls, jump out of quote cards, chase little visitors, and curl up to sleep. At the same time, the extension adds small visual cues that make X easier to read, such as follow relationships, engagement signals, and interaction history.
A few things I cared about while building it:
🐾 The cats should feel like they actually live there — not just float on top of the UI.
👀 Useful information should stay quiet and optional.
🔒 Everything should run locally in the browser. No external tracking or activity collection.
🎛️ You can adjust how many cats appear, which information is shown, sounds, and other behavior.
The project started as a small personal experiment, but it has gradually grown into a tiny world inside X.
I'd especially love feedback on the balance between “cute” and “useful,” and on what kinds of interactions you'd like to see the cats have with the timeline.
Thanks for checking it out! 🐈
