Built for real Japanese phone calls, not generic side-by-side translation. - No Japanese SIM card needed: call from the app with a built-in Japanese number - The other side answers a normal phone and installs nothing - Live two-way voice translation: English, Mandarin, Cantonese to/from Japanese - Made and tuned specifically for Japanese calls: restaurants, hotels, clinics, support lines, and IVR/keypad menus
Hey Product Hunt, I am the maker of NativeCall.
I built this for the Japan phone calls that still do not work with travel apps or subtitles: restaurant bookings, ryokans, clinics, customer service, and other phone-only tasks.
NativeCall places a real outbound call to the Japanese number. You speak English, Mandarin, or Cantonese; the person on the other end hears Japanese on their normal phone. Their reply is translated back to you live with a transcript. They do not install anything.
A few details:
- Japan-specific, not a 150-language translator
- Built-in keypad for 0120/0570 menus and IVR
- Free trial minutes, then prepaid credits
- Emergency and short service numbers blocked
I am looking for blunt feedback on the positioning and first-use flow:
1. Is "call Japan in your own language" clear enough?
2. What would stop you from trusting this for a real booking?
3. Which Japan phone use case should we optimize next?

Who hunted NativeCall?
NativeCall was hunted by Jayson Fong. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
