Hi everyone! I'm Eddie, an entrepreneur based in Seoul, Korea. It is quite obvious that we are getting tired of social media. Because it offers only a snapshot, everyone is sharing their happiest moments in a constant competition, ironically leaving each other more isolated and lonelier than ever. Of course, there are microblogs where you can write full stories. However, narrating through text can be a daunting task. It's about organizing thoughts, picking the precise words, and sending the true message, all of which require both skill and effort. This is why my team and I made Narrator. We are leveraging the power of AI to break down barriers of storytelling that have been preventing many from capturing and sharing their authentic experiences. Narrator is designed to offer three core values: 1. Easy βœ…: Chat and let Narrator write. It is as simple as sharing a story with a friend. 2. Authentic πŸ”: Capture true stories, thoughts, and feelings that make your life unique. 3. Lasting πŸŽ†: Keep a lifelong archive of your memories. Don’t let them fade! To be honest, Narrator still needs a lot of work. If you are interested in social apps powered by AI, please follow us and get notified on our next launches! Let's discuss about the future of human connections in the flood of AI.

Congrats with the launch! I really like the concept, and even now use the Instagram more like an album of photos for the future me, but always struggle with captions. First, writing it eats a lot of time; and second, there's something that I don't want to share. But it's really cool to not just have the photo, but describe feelings or the experience a bit more detailed. So when I installed Narrator, I was excited about that, expecting to see something between Instagram and Google Photos. A meaningful photo album for me, which parts I can post to Instagram or share with selected people. Let me describe my experience: 1. When I just installed the app, I saw the memoirs written by others. It's a great demo, but it pushed me off, because I was thinking about the private album. Now I was questioning if keeping things private is possible. 2. Describing the situation to an AI, and getting cheerful responses with summary and clarifying questions was an awesome experience. It was really enjoying to memorize things in this iterative way, and it actually made me feel even better for that past experience. I recognized some small details that I did not pay enough attention to. 3. At the point when I didn't have anything to add, I wrote something like "No, I think this is it" to an AI, because I was in that "conversation mood". I expected that it will close the conversation and show me the draft, but it just repeated the same response. I realized that I had to press the "Create" button in the corner, but that kinda pulled me out of the flow. 4. I was surprised that the memoir was saying "Roman was...". Expected it to be a story told from my own perspective. 5. I will briefly suggest some functions which absence I was upset with during that first session – Being able to write memoirs for groups of photos – Being able to share memoirs with specific people – Being able to edit the memoir text written by the AI – Being able to edit the layout of the text on the photos (now it's hard to read) I wish you good luck with this product, and hope that my feedback helps :)

With the eloquence of a seasoned storyteller and the finesse of a conductor orchestrating emotions, the narrator masterfully navigates the currents of the narrative. Their voice, a compass in the literary landscape, guides us through uncharted plots with an intimacy that leaves an indelible mark. Seamlessly weaving characters' destinies, they unveil a tapestry of intrigue, binding listeners and readers alike to their mesmerizing tales. Like a lighthouse illuminating the shores of imagination, the narrator's presence is not just a voice but a catalyst that transforms words into vivid realities. Truly, they are the heart and soul of every story they embrace.

One of those launches that you come across on Product Hunt every once in a while that leaves you awestruck. Love the product and can't wait to use this soon. Stay awesome @hmpark_eddie and team :)

I like the concept of the app and the app store page is pretty clear in what it can do. But I'm not sure you translate these capabilities on your landing page. A small Gif with a "Download App" button is not exactly what I would call converting. Or something I would even recommend for launching with on Product Hunt (as a UX guy). If I was an unsuspecting user just browsing Product Hunt, would click on "Visit Website" on your launch day, I wouldn't be instilled with a lot of confidence seeing that sparse of content on narrator.ooo. I love the aesthetic of your gif, but I would seriously think about revamping the entire landing page to include portions of the info you mentioned in your pinned comment (here on PH) and insights you are showcasing on your appstore page. I'm thinking a strong intro, a short array of USPs, a few examples from your app and an about section that talks about your goals and future plans. Designwise maybe something like Bikey does with their app landing page or a structure you could find for the time tracker app on timestwelve(dot)xyz. Just as a few pointers to showcase what I mean. Something simple and condensed that has the ability to get your users up to speed without having to browse all app stores to find out important info. As it stands right now, your landing page doesn't really tell your users anything substantial. No previews, no step by steps, no explainers or examples that your AI tools can create. From a UX perspective its not a good look or a good first impression. Given the promises of your app, I'm sure this is still Work in Progress and a planned step on your apps journey. But launching with basically no landing page and that sparse of a insight into your app is not the best strategy to be honest, to convince people to use your app. But maybe thats just me as a UX nerd.

Amazing!!!! The concept of having a personal biographer to turn my memories into memoirs is captivating! I love the idea of easily transforming photos into lasting stories is intriguing. Congrats on the launchπŸŽ‰

Talking about memories through photos sounds like such a fantastic idea! I really want to share it with my family

Captivatingly enigmatic, the narrator's voice weaves through the tapestry of the story, orchestrating a symphony of emotions with each whispered revelation. A master of literary puppetry, they guide characters through the labyrinth of their existence, leaving breadcrumbs of suspense and catharsis. Just as a maestro conducts with precision, the narrator conducts our journey, setting the tempo of anticipation and surprise. With a kaleidoscope of perspectives, they reveal that truth is as multifaceted as a diamond, refracting through their words. A dance of eloquence and mystery, the narrator crafts a narrative constellation, inviting us to connect the literary dots in a constellation uniquely our own.

This is amazing and very emotional. I will use it for sure! Congrats on this great launch!!

Hi @hmpark_eddie the way you used AI for using it for memories is awesome. I love what you are building and would like to help you in building it a perfect product. I'm interesting in working with your marketing team and is open to discussion as per your availability. I'm based out of India. Let Narrator narrate the memories of us building it :)
