Boutis, a French wholecloth quilting technique, is listed as critically endangered — Not many practitioners still working. Fair Isle knitting and Irish crochet are both on the endangered list. These aren't crafts that died in some distant past. They're going quiet now, in the working lifetime of people who are alive today.
