NAP Designs Tools
12 free browser tools that never upload your files
A free, privacy-first alternative to TinyPNG, remove.bg, iLovePDF and JSONLint — in one hub. 12 browser-only tools for images, PDFs, and dev work. No uploads. No signup. No limits. Runs on WebAssembly. Built by NAP Designs
Hey 👋 I'm Pratham.
I got tired of TinyPNG's 5MB limit, remove.bg watermarking my downloads, and iLovePDF making me wait in a queue. So I built 12 tools that do the same jobs — but 100% in your browser. No uploads, no signup, no watermarks, no daily caps.
Everything runs on WebAssembly (jSquash, pdf-lib, ONNX for the AI cutout). Your files literally never touch a server — open the Network tab while using any tool, you'll see zero uploads.
Included: Squish (compress), Cutout (AI bg removal), Crop, Resize, Convert, Favicon, PDF (merge/split/compress/rotate), EXIF viewer + stripper, QR generator, JSON formatter, Watermark, Palette extractor.
Would love feedback on:
1. Which tool would you actually use?
2. What's missing you'd want next?
Free forever. Roadmap open 🙏
Love that it runs entirely in the browser, compressed a batch of PNGs without anything leaving my machine. The PDF merge worked shockingly fast too.
Love that everything runs locally in the browser via WebAssembly, no waiting on uploads just to compress a PNG or validate some JSON. Clean execution and exactly the kind of privacy-first hub I'd actually bookmark.
Love that everything runs entirely in the browser via WebAssembly. No upload wait times and nothing leaving my machine is such a relief when working with client assets. Clean execution on the privacy angle.
Love having all these tools in one place without uploading anything. One feature I'd love to see is a batch resize option where you can set a target width or height and apply it to a whole folder of images at once, even just a simple drag-and-drop folder. Would save a ton of time over resizing one by one.
the no upload angle is genuinely the best part, feels like the right call. one thing that would make it a daily driver for me though is a batch upload option for the image tools, basically drag a whole folder and let it compress them all in parallel and spit out a zip. right now doing them one by one kind of defeats the convenience when you have like 30 product shots to shrink
