Nailvana
For the moments when your fingers wander to your mouth
Nailvana is for people who bite their nails, chew their cuticles, pick at skin, or catch themselves doing that very specific "wait, why is my hand in my mouth again?" thing. It sits quietly in your system tray and gives you a gentle nudge when it notices the habit starting. No shame. No streak anxiety. Just a soft little reminder.
Excited to share my first Product Hunt launch, Nailvana.
Nailvana helps people stop nail biting and dermatophagia (skin biting around the nails) through gentle, real-time reminders. Using your webcam, it detects when your hand moves toward your mouth and nudges you before the habit happens.
I built this because breaking unconscious habits is incredibly difficult, and I wanted a solution that felt supportive rather than intrusive.
Privacy was a priority from day one. All processing happens locally on your device, the webcam stream never leaves your computer, is never uploaded anywhere, and no video is stored.
I'd love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or answer any questions in the comments.

Nailvana was hunted by Sarthak Narula. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
