NABarFinder maps the venues that treat non-alcoholic drinking as a real menu, not an afterthought. Every listing is checked by a person, then graded on NA Program Strength so you can tell a bar with one dusty NA beer from one with a dedicated zero-proof list. Search by city, see which NA brands are actually poured where, browse menus, and plan an alcohol-free night that isn't a compromise. There's an MCP server and JSON feed too, so your AI assistant can search it as well.

Hey Product Hunt,

I built NABarFinder because finding a bar with an actual non-alcoholic menu meant scrolling Instagram, squinting at photos of a chalkboard, and calling ahead to ask an employee who didn't know. Meanwhile "NA options available" turned out to mean a warm Heineken 0.0 in the back cooler.

So the whole thing is built around one question: is the zero-proof program real? Every one of the 1,520 venues across 70 cities is checked by a person before it goes live and carries the date it was last verified. Each gets an NA Program Strength grade instead of a meaningless five-star rating, because a taproom with a rotating zero-proof draft list and a cocktail bar with one canned option are not the same recommendation.

What's changed since I scheduled this launch:

  1. Menus, not vibes — we've now read 479 venues' own menus line by line: 2,328 non-alcoholic drinks, 1,147 with the printed price. If a bar is listed under "NA negroni," it's on their menu, dated.

  2. The Mocktail Price Index — from those prices: the median zero-proof cocktail on a US bar menu is $11 right now. Free CSV, CC BY 4.0, city by city.

  3. Non-alcoholic beer, by city — 445 bars, taprooms and breweries with NA beer verified on the menu, by brand, or brewing their own. "On draft" is flagged only where the menu says so, because it's rarer than the marketing suggests.

  4. Brand-by-city pages, so you can find where a specific NA brand is actually poured.

  5. An MCP server + JSON feed, listed in the official MCP registry, so assistants can answer "sober bars near me" from verified data instead of hallucinating.

Who it's for: people who are sober, sober-curious, pregnant, driving, on medication, in training, or just not drinking tonight — plus anyone planning a trip who'd rather not gamble on the one bar in town.

What I'd love feedback on: is the NA Program Strength grading legible enough to trust at a glance, and what city should I verify next? Drop a venue you love and I'll go check it.
