Between being a dad of 3, running teams, and chasing new ideas, my head was always full. I didn’t have time to write in a journal and then somehow analyze it, and I definitely didn’t need another task or habit tracker filled with reminders.
I wanted one place where I could just talk about the things I needed to do, goals, worries, ideas, whatever was on my mind ...and have it remembered, organized, and reflected back to me so I could see what I was actually doing, what I kept avoiding, and where I needed to do better.
I also didn’t want to search through Claude projects or GPT threads for my personal stuff. And I didn’t want one app for tasks, another for habits, another for goals, another for inner growth, etc.
I’m good with the 80/20 rule. MyThoughts may not have every bell and whistle of a dedicated task manager or habit tracker. It has the core stuff I need, all in one place, without turning my life into another system of apps.
