MyPDFScanner
Simple offline PDF scanner for iPhone — no subscription
The simplest way to scan documents on iPhone. Big buttons, plain language, made for people who don't live on their phone. Snap a letter or import a photo → clean PDF → send by email/WhatsApp/print. 100% offline: no account, no cloud, nothing leaves your device. Free with ads; one-time purchase removes them — no subscription.
Hi PH! I built MyPDFScanner after watching my parents struggle with scanner apps full of logins, subscriptions and cloud uploads. This one is deliberately simple and fully offline scans never leave the iPhone, there's no account, and it's a one-time purchase to remove ads instead of a subscription. It uses Apple's on-device Vision engine (same as Notes) for fast, private edge detection. Would love your feedback especially on the senior-friendly UX. - Sven
Does the free version limit how many scans you can do or which sharing options you get, or is it basically the full app with just banners thrown in?
