myMentalPal
Turn powerful ideas from books into personal practice
myMentalPal introduces Growth Meditation: guided sessions that turn the strongest ideas from nonfiction books into something you can actually practice. Instead of collecting more summaries, members slow down, reflect, and rehearse qualities like focus, resilience, courage, and self-awareness. Built for practical self-improvers, the app combines curated 15-minute sessions, habit-building streaks, and an experience designed to make wisdom usable in real life.
I built myMentalPal because I kept seeing the same gap in my own life: I could understand a powerful idea and still fail to live it when pressure arrived. My first training ground was athletics. Sport taught me that nobody builds strength by reading about a workout—yet with the mind, we often expect one insight to transform us.
After injuries changed the professional-athlete future I had imagined, meditation became less about escaping stress and more about learning how to practice resilience, attention, and return. That experience became the seed for a new category we call Growth Meditation.
myMentalPal is not a book-summary app and it is not meditation designed only to make you calm. It helps you choose an idea worth living, slow it down, and rehearse it until it becomes available in real life. Thousands of members now use the app, and it has earned 500+ ratings around the world.
I would love the Product Hunt community’s honest feedback: Which idea or quality do you understand intellectually—but still struggle to practice when it matters?
