I built MyAIDictation because every dictation tool I tried did one of two things: shipped my voice off to someone's server, or produced a wall of text I had to clean up by hand. On top of that, they either didn't have a full qwerty keyboard, or it was just awful to use.
So this one is different in two ways:
1. **It runs on-device.** Autocorrect and prediction use CoreML on your iPhone - no account, no keylogging, no ad IDs. There's an optional on-device Parakeet dictation mode that works fully offline.
2. **It cleans up after itself.** An on-device neural autocorrect fixes typos in context (without mangling real words). For deeper cleanup, an opt-in cloud "Ghost Editor" makes a second pass over text you've typed, and dictation styles (Casual, Professional, Summary…) turn your speech into something you'd actually send. (The Ghost Editor and styles are the clearly-labeled cloud tier - everything else stays on-device.)
It's been especially useful for folks who find typing painful - dyslexia, RSI, or just long messages on a phone. It works in every app, with an adjustable keyboard, an optional number row, and some fun extras (yes, there's an "I'm Actually Drunk" mode).
