I got an Instant Pot Duo Plus years ago and use it regularly for simple foods—green beans, rice, steel-cut oats. I kept a growing list of timings, often based on testing from Amy + Jacky, but tracking everything in a text note got cumbersome. I wanted something more visual, so I built a dedicated app.
It started as a simple timing tracker, but I quickly realized many people use their pressure cooker for full recipes, not just single foods. That led to support for ingredients, preparation steps, sautéing, deglazing, and multiple pressure-cook phases.
Since nobody wants to enter all that by hand, I added recipe import. Share from Safari, paste a URL, or paste a block of text—My Timings pulls in cook settings, ingredients, and steps automatically. It ended up bigger than I planned, but I'm happy with where it landed and excited to call it 1.0.

My Timings was hunted by Uhl Albert. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
