I built My People Note because I kept forgetting my friends' sizes and allergies when shopping for gifts — and I was tired of asking the same questions every time.
I looked at existing apps but they all required cloud accounts and monthly subscriptions. I just wanted something simple: open it, get the info, done.
So I built it as a solo developer:
- Data lives in your browser only (IndexedDB) — zero server storage
- No sign-up needed
- One-time payment of $3.99 — no recurring fees
It supports both English and Japanese, and works on any device with a browser.
