Try Meta's Muse Video — AI clips with native audio
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
Maker of MuseVideos here.
On July 7, Meta Superintelligence Labs previewed Muse Video — their first video model, and the first mainstream one that renders picture AND audio in a single pass. No more generating a silent clip and bolting sound on afterward. It debuted at No. 3 on the Text-to-Video Arena, which got us obsessed.
The problem: most people can't actually try it. So we built a [muse video ai](https://musevideos.io) workspace where you can:
🎬 Type a prompt → get a cinematic clip with dialogue, ambience & sound effects baked in
🖼️ Turn a still image into a moving, sounding scene (image-to-video)
🔀 Fall back on proven engines — Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Wan 2.7 — so every render lands

We think "sound-on by default" is the biggest shift in AI video since text-to-video itself, and we want your take:
👉 What's the first thing you'd generate with native audio — a talking character, a music moment, or ambient B-roll?
I'll be here all day answering questions. Every piece of feedback shapes the roadmap. Thanks for checking us out! 🙏
Tested a quick forest rain prompt and the ambient sound matched the visuals surprisingly well, way better than other tools I tried. Lip sync on a dialogue clip was a bit off but the cinematic quality for nature scenes is genuinely impressive.
How long are the video clips you can generate at once, and is there a way to extend them if I want a longer scene?
How does the free tier actually work for usage limits, and do generated clips have any watermarks if I don't pay?
tried a quick nature scene prompt and the audio actually matched up well with the visuals, which caught me off guard for an AI video tool. loading time was reasonable too.
Tried it with a prompt for a rainy cafe scene and the audio actually synced with the rain and chatter, which caught me off guard. Render was ready in under two minutes on the free tier.
A native timeline editor would be huge so you can trim clips, stitch multiple generations together, and adjust the audio sync without leaving the app. Right now everything feels one-shot, but real projects need a way to assemble scenes.
The native audio is a really cool touch for a video model, but a built-in timeline editor would make this so much more usable. Right now I can generate a great clip, but if I want to combine a few shots, trim, or add captions, I have to export and switch to another tool. A simple drag-and-drop timeline right inside Muse would be huge for quick social content.
Native audio is a game changer, the dialogue synced perfectly with the motion in my test clip. Solid output quality for a quick prompt.
Tried it with a prompt for a rainy city street scene and the ambient thunder plus distant traffic sounded surprisingly layered for a quick generation. The visuals held up too, though a few background details melted on closer inspection.
