Murmury
Live answers from your docs during calls, fully on your Mac
Murmury listens to the other side of your Zoom, Meet or Teams call, transcribes it on your Mac and shows a short answer from your own documents, in a window screen sharing does not capture. Free, open source, runs locally with Ollama.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Gianluca and I built Murmury.
The bar in calls has gone up. The people on the other side prepare with AI now, so their questions get sharper and more specific: the exact churn in March, the clause on page 31, how this quarter compares to plan. Nobody can keep all of that in their head, and we're all drowning in documents anyway.
Murmury is my answer to that. It listens to the other side of your Zoom, Meet or Teams call, notices when someone asks you something, and shows a short answer from your own documents, with where it found it. You still do the talking; it just extends your memory, so you can stay present with the client or investor instead of digging through files.
- Speech is transcribed on your Mac. No bot joins the call, nothing is saved.
- It can run fully local with Ollama, no API key, or with your own key for Claude, OpenAI, Gemini and others.
- The window doesn't show up when you share your screen (measured: 0 px in macOS screen capture).
Free and open source (GPL-3.0), Apple Silicon. I'd love to hear which calls you'd use it for, and what's missing.

Who hunted Murmury?
Murmury was hunted by Gianluca Bavelloni. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
