Hey Product Hunt! I’m Matheus, the creator of Murder At Mine.
I wanted hosting a murder mystery to feel as fun as attending one. No printing character sheets, spending hours preparing, or knowing the ending before your friends arrive.
With Murder At Mine, you pick a theme and gather 4–10 people. The app creates a custom mystery for your group, gives everyone their own character and secrets, and guides the evening through clues, accusations and the final reveal. The host gets to play too.
You can go classic with a gothic manor or a 1920s speakeasy, or get wonderfully specific with a theme your friends will love. The app generates a murder mystery around any theme you can image (and prompt). If someone cancels, you can regenerate the mystery for the updated guest list.
With Halloween coming up, I’d love to help a few more groups turn their next gathering into a crime scene. One purchase covers the whole party, with no subscription.
Happy to answer questions—and I’d love to know: what theme would your group choose?

Who hunted Murder At Mine?
Murder At Mine was hunted by Matheus Alves. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
