MOVO AI is the world’s first AI video agent for long-form creation that works right from your phone. It also works on the web. Shoot, upload, or start with an idea, then tell MOVO AI what you want. MOVO plans, creates, refines, keeps characters and scenes consistent, and brings the whole video together. Lock your phone and MOVO keeps working. Come back to review or make changes through chat. No prompt gymnastics. No canvas-heavy workflows. No manual clip stitching.
I’m one of the makers behind MOVO AI—the world’s first long-form video agent on your mobile.
My mother is a small creator who manages several social media accounts, and my father is her loyal cameraman. They are both over 60, but they still spend hours filming, editing, posting, and proudly watching every new like and follower.
They make little, if any, money from it. But social media gives them something real: an audience, confidence, and the feeling that their stories are being seen.
At the same time, I watched more founders around me become creators. They recorded videos between meetings, explained their ideas to customers, and built influence around themselves and their products.
I was different. I was an introverted engineer who began working in AI while completing my graduate degree at Carnegie Mellon University. I had ideas, but I didn’t understand camera movements, editing, or how to look natural on camera. Even with the newest iPhone, I often didn’t know where to begin.
My parents showed me how meaningful it could be to share your life. The founders around me showed me how necessary video was becoming. Together, they made me feel like I was being left behind by an era I was helping to build.
That gap became the reason we built MOVO AI.
What is MOVO?
MOVO turns an idea into a complete long-form video through one continuous conversation.
Start with a rough thought, script, reference, or a few assets. MOVO helps structure the story, establish the characters and visual direction, generate scenes, respond to feedback, and compose everything into a cohesive video.
You don’t need to know the technical name of every shot or write a complex prompt for each scene. You can simply talk to MOVO as you would talk to a director, creative partner, or friend.
Internally, we describe it as “Codex for video”: you direct what you want to create without writing every underlying instruction yourself.
What surprised us
We initially thought eliminating prompt gymnastics would mainly help beginners. Professional AI creators already knew how to write sophisticated prompts, select models, and manage complicated workflows.
We underestimated how much professionals would value this approach too.
They embraced it not because they couldn’t write prompts, but because they wanted to focus their attention on what matters more: story, structure, pacing, characters, and emotion.
Conversations with accomplished professors and screenwriters at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts reinforced this belief. Models and production tools will keep changing, but storytelling remains the foundation.
We realized that agentic creation is not simply an easier mode for beginners. It may be a more universal creative interface: accessible enough for a first-time creator, yet powerful enough to free professionals from repetitive production work.
Why mobile matters
Once creation becomes conversational, it no longer needs to live inside a desktop canvas.
A founder can start a product video before the next meeting. A store owner can review an advertisement from behind the counter. A parent can develop a family story in the park. A filmmaker can approve scenes while moving between locations. A hiker can capture an idea at the summit before the inspiration disappears.
You might describe an idea over breakfast, approve the storyboard on the train, review generated scenes after work, and refine the ending before bed.
MOVO continues working asynchronously, so you don’t need to babysit every generation. Creation can move with your life instead of requiring your life to stop.
From one video to an ongoing world
Within the same project, you can begin Episodes 2, 3, and 4 in new sessions without re-entering the same characters, products, locations, and creative direction.
MOVO carries that context forward, helping you develop an ongoing world rather than a collection of disconnected clips.
What we’d love you to test
We would especially value feedback on three things:
Does talking to MOVO feel like working with a useful director or creative partner?
Can you meaningfully develop a video on mobile without supervising every step?
How well does MOVO preserve your creative world across multiple episodes?
AI video still has many unsolved problems, and MOVO is still evolving. We want to hear where it understands your direction, where it surprises you, and where it falls short.
Our goal is not to replace human creativity. It is to close the gap between having a story and being able to show it.
Anyone with a story should be able to make it move—wherever life takes them.
does it also tracks my social handle and suggest trending creative ideas about video?
Congrats on the launch! Love the idea of creating long videos just by describing what you want 👏
Long-form on mobile is bold. Does the agent cut my own camera roll footage, or mostly generate the scenes? I make short videos with AI agents on desktop and the hardest part is always cutting on the voice timing, curious how you handle that.
Current video ai solutions work great for very short form stuff but clearly are lacking in longer format when theres a story to tell, amazing that this solves just that! I wonder how you guys handle when just a tiny bit of the video needs to be changed? do you regenerate the whole thing or can i cut a single part and change it ?
Brilliant
Reading the story, I thought you would name it MOFA (Mother and Father) :)
Goodluck mate
Super cool. Haven’t seen many take on long form for mobile. And with all the micro-dramas it’s nice to have a mobile solution 🙏
I've always felt that making people learn prompt engineering is a UX problem. We should be able to describe what we want, not learn how to speak AI's language. Really rooting for products like MOVO!
@edward_chen11 Can it keep the same character across multiple scenes without extra editing?
Very impressed, your demo alone was enough to earn my upvote. Congratulations on your launch. I hope when clip generations are full of errors the credits used are refundable - just joking :-)
Carrying characters into the next episode is the part I'd want to test. A change made in episode two shouldn't mean describing the whole cast again for episode three.
Can you cantrol the same characters across m,ultiple scenes without having to fix their look every time?
does it ping you when a draft is ready after you lock the phone, or do you have to open the app to check?
Quick question I want to know: would you optimize the video quality based on different types of phones?
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I’m Aimee, a product manager at MOVO AI—and my camera roll is full of “I’ll turn this into a video someday” clips. 📱
Some ideas only give you a few seconds to catch them.
Maybe you spot a little cat walking down the street, then suddenly launching an epic “hunt” for a fallen leaf. Or you’re out with friends, and someone strikes a perfect pose for a photo—just as their hat steals the show.
You capture the moment and think, “I’m definitely turning this into a video when I get home!” But then you have to figure out the opening, how the story unfolds, and how to edit it all together. By evening, the clip has joined all the other “I’ll make something with this later” videos in your camera roll. I know that feeling well.
We want MOVO to help you turn that spark into a story while you’re still excited about it.
Take out your phone, tell MOVO what you just saw, add a photo or clip, and start exploring the story. You don’t need a finished script or a plan for every shot before you begin.
As the story and scenes take shape, you can review them and tell MOVO which moment needs to be more playful, which character needs more personality, or whether you want a different ending. MOVO keeps the production moving; you decide where the story goes.
Have you had a “this should be a video!” moment lately? 🎬 Give MOVO a try on your phone while the idea is fresh—and show us what you create!
Hey PH 👋 I’m Eric from the MOVO AI team, and I lead the agent and AI work behind MOVO 🤖
While building MOVO, I keep coming back to one question: how much of the journey from an idea 💡 to a finished video 🎬 can you truly entrust to an agent? If creators still have to supervise every step, we have more work to do.
We want you to be able to create whenever inspiration strikes, whether on your phone 📱 or on the web 💻. Our longer-term goal is for MOVO to understand your intent, taste, and preferences well enough to take on more creative decisions and carry a project through to completion—so you can focus on what you want to express ✨
With a creative partner like MOVO, what would you create first?
📣 A product ad 📱 Regular content for your social channels 🛍️ A promotional video for your store 🎥 A story you’ve always wanted to tell
Give MOVO a try, and tell us where it understands your vision and where it still misses the mark 💬 If you like what we’re building, we’d appreciate an upvote to support us as we keep making MOVO better 🙌🎬

MOVO AI was hunted by Zac Zuo. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
