I made another little app — Mote, a minimal expense tracker.
I've always felt that recording an expense shouldn't take more effort than the purchase itself.
Most expense trackers ask you to fill out forms, choose categories, and navigate through multiple screens. I wanted something simpler.
So I built Mote.
Swipe up, type "6 coffee", and you're done.
Every evening, all those tiny expenses come together as a daily receipt, with a little printing animation. It's my favorite part of the app.
The name Mote comes from a tiny particle. Every expense is small on its own, but together they tell a bigger story.
Small alone. Meaningful together.
