Mosaic Camera Pro auto-detects faces, license plates, and sensitive text the instant you open a photo, covering each with a tap-to-adjust icon - no manual boxes needed. One tap blurs the whole background so the location can't be identified. Strip GPS, date, and device data before saving, or lock originals in a Face ID-protected vault. 100% on-device; nothing ever leaves your phone. $1.99 once, no subscription, no ads.

Hi everyone — I'm Tomohiko, a solo indie developer in Japan. I built this because of one specific afternoon: my kid's school sports day, a folder of great photos, and me sitting in a generic photo editor manually drawing a box over every other kid's face before I felt okay posting anything to the family group chat — plus a license plate in the lot behind them and a postal code visible on an envelope on the counter in one shot. It took forever, and I still worried I'd missed one, so some photos I just didn't post at all. That's the whole reason the app exists: Apple's on-device Vision framework runs the instant you open a photo, finds faces, plates, and sensitive text like phone numbers or postal codes, and covers each one automatically with a small icon you can tap to adjust — no manual box-drawing. There's also a one-tap background blur (Apple's person segmentation) for when the location itself is identifying, and an EXIF step that strips GPS, date, and device data before saving. One deliberate choice I went back and forth on: it only edits the metadata, never the image pixels — a metadata scrubber I could get right felt more honest to ship than a pixel editor I might get wrong. Everything runs offline — no server, no account, no analytics, no ads. It's a one-time $1.99, no subscription. Genuinely curious — what's the moment you've hesitated before posting a photo, and what did you end up doing about it: crop tight, blur by hand, or just not post?
