A lightning-fast, open-source headless CMS built on Hono, Drizzle, and Neon Serverless Postgres. Spin up isolated multi-tenant workspaces, create dynamic schemas instantly with zero database migrations via JSONB storage, and serve content at global edge speeds.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I’m Bayu, the creator of Morphic CMS. I’m incredibly excited to share what I’ve been working on with this amazing community today!
As a developer, I love building applications on lightweight edge runtimes and serverless platforms. But every time I needed to plug in a headless CMS, I ran into the same frustrating walls: heavy legacy frameworks that added noticeable network lag to my client apps, messy database connection exhaustion in serverless environments, and the hair-pulling friction of handling database migrations just to add a new content field.
I built Morphic CMS to completely redefine that developer experience.
I wanted a content engine that felt thin, blisteringly fast, and completely unrestrictive. To achieve that, I skipped heavy middleware abstractions and built a modern, composable stack completely from scratch:
⚡ Hono Framework: Built to run directly at the network edge with zero external dependencies for rapid routing.
🗄️ Neon Serverless Postgres: Autoscales dynamically and scales-to-zero when idle to keep infrastructure costs completely minimal.
🎯 Drizzle ORM: Thin, ultra-fast SQL queries with native TypeScript autocomplete and deep type safety.
🧬 Zero-Migration Engine: Fields map instantly to optimized Postgres JSONB columns. You can change your schema in the dashboard on the fly without running risky database migration scripts.
Morphic CMS is 100% open-source and self-hostable. However, managing serverless proxies, connection pools (like PgBouncer), and handling edge assets shouldn't slow down your deployment momentum. That's why today, we are officially opening the doors to Morphic CMS Cloud—giving you the full power of our edge infrastructure in under 60 seconds with zero server anxiety.
We've also built in production-ready multi-tenancy, a clean Inertia.js + React administrative dashboard, and automated public form endpoints protected at the edge by Cloudflare Turnstile bot filtering.

Spun up a workspace in under a minute and the JSONB schema approach is genuinely clever for prototyping. Curious how it holds up once collections start getting complex.
