Moori is a privacy-first notes app for capturing scattered thoughts, organizing files, and revisiting ideas across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Web. Browse notes by timeline or topic, switch to card views with custom properties, preview PDFs, images, video, audio, Markdown, and documents, and save content with the web clipper. Your notes and attachments sync directly to your own Apple CloudKit or Google Drive—not a Moori content server.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I’m Hejia, the solo maker of Moori.
I built Moori because my notes were scattered across quick thoughts, files, screenshots, saved links, and different devices. Most tools felt either too structured for spontaneous capture or too limited for organizing everything later.
Moori starts with a simple idea: capture first, organize when you’re ready. You can write without opening a separate page, revisit notes through a timeline or topics, switch to a card view with custom properties, and keep PDFs, images, videos, audio, Markdown, and documents alongside your thoughts.
Privacy and ownership were important from the beginning. Moori syncs notes and attachments directly to your own Apple CloudKit or Google Drive rather than storing your content on a Moori server.
I built the product independently with AI-assisted development, learning design, sync, browser extensions, attachment previews, and App Store release along the way.
Moori is available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Web, with Android and Windows planned.
I’d love your feedback: what would make Moori more useful in your everyday workflow? Thanks for checking it out! 🌼

Who hunted Moori?
Moori was hunted by HejiaC. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
