Hey Product Hunt! I'm Ryan, creator of Modding with Ryan.
I built Mod Builder because I got tired of writing the same Minecraft boilerplate over and over. Every new item or mechanic meant setting up registries, JSON files, models and Gradle before I could get to the fun part.
I wanted a tool where you could configure an item visually, see it update live, and export a real project that opens in IntelliJ instead of generating fake demo code.
The biggest shift during development was realizing the builder had to be useful for seasoned modders too. Rather than hiding the code, I made it generate real project structures for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, so you can use it as a starting point instead of replacing your workflow.
