🤔 **Why I built this:**
I've tried dozens of Pomodoro apps, but they all felt... boring. I wanted something that made me actually WANT to focus. So I combined my love for cute characters with productivity tools.

What if your timer had a pet that grew with you? Every minute you focus, you earn XP. Level up, and Mochi evolves from a tiny blob to a majestic Mega Mochi.

It reminds me of this app that I used 10+ years ago where you would virtually plant flowers and trees as you stayed away from your phone, so by the end of the day you could admire the little garden that you grew over the day. The 120-minute timer option is great for deep work sessions. I’m mainly curious if the app sends me a nudge if I’ve been away for too long, and whether my Mochi 'shrinks' or loses health if I break my streak for a day.
I love that it has a built-in website blocker because I always get distracted during my focus sessions. I'm just wondering if I can customize which sites get blocked, or if it has a 'strict mode' that prevents me from turning it off mid-timer.

Mochi is great! I’ve had similar ideas for language learning apps. Congrats! To make it even more effective, we could be ruthless: Mochi loses XP every time a planned task is late. Hahaha

The design is clean and easy to use - I really like it! I also found the "Focus with Mochi" YouTube channel through this, which is a nice addition. One thing to note: if you block the YouTube website, it also blocks this Mochi channel, which is a bit confusing. It would be nice to have it as an exception during focus sessions.
The UI looks amazing! I'm curious, are there plans to expand beyond Chrome to Firefox or Safari in the future?
