Most calorie trackers die the same way: you forget to open the app after a few days, and the streak breaks. Mochi fixes this by living in your most used app: iMessage. What Mochi does: • Text or photograph your food → get an instant macro breakdown (protein/carbs/fat) • Tracks water, weight, and daily calorie goals automatically • Sends proactive check-ins/texts • Streak tracking with shareable milestone cards • Full web dashboard with trend graphs for weight, calories, and streaks
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Mochi because I kept quitting every calorie tracker I tried: always the same failure point, forgetting to open the app. So I built something that lives in iMessage instead and can reach out to me, rather than needing me to remember it.
A few things I’m proud of that don’t show up in screenshots: it handles messy, real-world food photos (not just clean staged ones), and it actually tracks a running streak the way GitHub tracks commit activity (there’s a yearly heatmap view that I love looking at)
Would love feedback, especially on the onboarding flow and pricing. Thanks for checking it out!
