Hi! I built this mobility lab as a research project , an experiment in turning the economics literature on intergenerational mobility (Chetty's Opportunity Insights, BLS earnings data, and the SCF wealth survey) into an interactive, personal forecast. The goal was to make abstract findings about parental rank, education, geography, and behavioral levers tangible: something you can actually adjust and watch your projected income percentile move. Curious to hear your feedback on the model and the assumptions behind it.

Comment highlights

Would love to see a comparison view where you can fork your inputs into two or three alternative scenarios side by side. For example, what changes if I move to Austin versus stay in Chicago, or if I pivot into healthcare instead of staying in finance. It would make the behavioral levers feel much more tangible instead of adjusting one slider at a time and trying to remember the previous forecast.
