I’m Jiho, co-founder and CEO at Mobbin.
Mobbin is the world’s largest UI & UX design reference library, with over 350,000 screenshots from the best-designed iOS, Android, and Web apps. We’re honored to be trusted and used by many of the teams behind these apps, such as Airbnb, Headspace, Uber, Spotify, and more. With over 1 million signups, we’ve come a long way from when we started 6 years ago.
Back then, I built the very first version of Mobbin as a side project as a college student and launched it on Product Hunt. It received an overwhelming response and support from the community and that played a pivotal role in Mobbin’s success today.
6 years later, we’re launching Mobbin on Product Hunt again, this time, to celebrate the significant updates we’ve made over the years. Here are a few of my favorites:

This is truly impressive, Jiho! Congrats to you and the Mobbin team on this amazing journey and all the fantastic updates.
I have a couple of questions: With the upcoming visual search feature, how will it enhance the current search capabilities? Also, could you share more about the community platform you’re planning to introduce?
Mobbin has been on my list of must-have designer resources for a while now! I've been using it a lot and it's awesome to see how much the product has improved over time. I would love to see tablet screens one day!
I use Mobbin all the time for reference. In fact, I even used it for apps that I was working on that they had done audits for. The audits are so complete that it really helped me get things done faster.
I saw your post on twitter and had to make a comment. You did a incredible job at Mobbin. I know you created this as a sideproject and i know the Mobbin from the beginning and i am using it often to get inspired. You created a great Pinterest like platform and founded a niche for it. Really Really impressive job, congrats on the launch off course.
At Sirup Lab (siruplab.com), we love Mobbin! A few years ago, I worked on a similar concept, developing a crawler that utilized accessibility data and included a "copy to Figma" feature.
Here are some additional features we imagined that might inspire you:
- Identify changes between versions (dropped, added, modified elements)
- Detect trends across apps (e.g., types of authentication, navigation patterns) and best practices
- Integrate Mobbin with AI to autocomplete designs and provide inspiration directly within Figma
- Detect dark patterns or "light patterns" in audited apps
- Connect with personal apps to maintain a UI overview and gain pattern inspiration

Wow, Mobbin just keeps getting better! The addition of flow videos is fantastic. Seeing designs in action will definitely help in understanding user interactions better.

Oh the flows look amazing, and honestly the life change is the ability to search. I've seen my designers browsing for hours looking for inspirations, but often times, you have some ideas and constraints you want to implement in your design. Can't wait to see how visual search work!

Mobbin has been a huge part of my workflow as a product designer! Would love to see more cool things like responsive sites, comparison of flows between apps and websites, insights into design decisions... but loving the updates so far!! Thanks for making the product!
