No cloud, no account, and no AI analyzing your family. - Quick Mode builds a ~1-minute recap for the previous 30 days in one tap. - Manual Mode lets you pick every moment yourself. Free, with an optional premium tier. iOS + Android.
Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Terry, the solo maker.
Right now a lot of photo products are racing to feed more of their users' data into AI. I built "Minute It" to go the opposite way.
It turns the photos & videos already on your phone into short recap films, generated entirely on-device. No cloud, no account, and no AI analyzing or scanning your family's faces. The "magic" isn't a server somewhere — it's on your phone. They're just your own moments, turned into a film you'll actually sit down and watch.
The backstory: seven years ago my daughter was born, and two years later my son joined — these two little ones always make my day. I started using another app to make little monthly family recaps, and I loved sending them to my parents so they could watch their grandkids grow. But organizing a month of clips into something watchable was always a chore I hardly got around to, and I grew uneasy about my kids' faces living on someone's servers.
So I made the app I wanted for my own family.
Two ways to use Minute It:
• Quick Mode: one tap → a ~1-minute recap of your recent photos & videos. No editing, no sorting.
• Manual Mode: hand-pick any dates / photos / videos into a custom recap.
People have told me they use Minute It for watching their kids grow (same as me!), trips, even tracking a few months of weight-loss progress.
"Minute It" is free with an optional premium tier, iOS + Android.
As an indie developer, I'd genuinely love your feedback. And I'm curious what this crowd thinks: in an age of cloud-AI-everything, does "it all stays on your device" still matter to you? Especially if you're a parent like me?
