Mini Loops holds one habit until it is steady. You set the habit, the moment in your day it follows, and a version small enough for a bad day. Two taps a day to answer it. There is no streak, no score and nothing that counts. When something keeps getting in the way, the app says what it noticed and suggests a change to the plan — you accept it or you decline it. Everything stays on your phone. No account, no sign-in, no server.
I built this after abandoning about four habit trackers.
The pattern was always the same: fill in a list of eight habits, have a bad week, lose the streak, stop opening the app. The thing that actually ended it was never the habit. It was that one missed day suddenly cost something.
So this one holds a single habit, has no counter of any kind, and asks what got in the way rather than only whether you did it. If the same obstacle turns up three times it proposes a smaller version or a different moment, and you accept it or decline it. Nothing changes on its own.
It is deliberately narrow. No dashboard, no multiple habits, no sync, no export. Everything stays on the phone, which is also why there is no backup. If your routine already works you do not need it — a repeating reminder is free and does the same job. It is for the case where habits keep failing and you cannot see why.
Happy to answer anything, including where it is the wrong choice.

Mini Loops was hunted by Leila Khanova. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
