Hey everyone! I built Minerva because I was drowning in YouTube subscriptions: 60+ channels, a Watch Later that only grew, and a pile of 2-3 hour podcasts I was never going to get to.
I tried copying transcripts into ChatGPT, but you get an unstructured wall of text and you still have to do it for every single video. For a long time I kept building a better summarizer, when the real problem was that nobody keeps summarizing things by hand.
So the thing I use every week is the newsletter. You pick channels and a schedule, and Minerva watches them, summarizes what they upload, and sends you an edition: a short intro, a blurb per video, and a link to each full summary with a TL;DR, timestamps, key points and quotes. You can decide in two minutes whether a video is worth watching, jump straight to the part you care about, or listen to the summary while doing something else.
The free plan includes one weekly newsletter with up to 3 channels, and on-demand summaries too: 3 new videos a month, up to an hour each, within 240 free minutes, and your very first one can be up to 3 hours. Anything already in Minerva is free at any length. No card. Bigger or more frequent newsletters are on paid plans, and for launch the first 100 people to upgrade get 30% off for their first 3 months.
