Mindraft
Capture ideas fast. Clarify them when ready. Add next step.
Mindraft is a lightweight local-first web app for capturing rough ideas fast, shaping them later, and turning them into clear next steps. This keeps the positioning aligned to the current app and avoids overselling it as a team workspace or full productivity suite. Mindraft currently stores data in the browser on the user’s device, with no user account or cloud sync in this version.
Hello! I built Mindraft for a very specific problem:
A lot of tools are helpful once an idea is already clear.
But many ideas die earlier than that, in the messy stage where the thought is still rough and not ready for a full system.
Mindraft is meant for that gap.
The flow is simple:
- capture the raw idea quickly
- come back later to shape it into a clearer concept
- add one next step so it can actually move forward
I wanted it to feel calm, lightweight, and local-first rather than like another bloated productivity suite.
Right now, Mindraft includes:
- fast idea capture
- simple idea structuring
- linked ideas
- next step + due date flow
- local backup / restore
- file attachments
- voice capture
- image-to-text import
- English / Spanish / French support
Also important: in the current version, your data stays in your browser on your device. There’s no account or cloud sync.
I’d especially love feedback on 2 things:
1. Does this feel like a real problem category to you?
2. What kind of person do you think Mindraft is most useful for first?
Thanks for taking a look.

Who hunted Mindraft?
Mindraft was hunted by Arnau Giol. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
