I started building Mindley after trying a lot of AI study tools and feeling like none of them solved the full problem.
Some tools created good notes. Others had flashcards, quizzes, or an AI tutor. But students still had to jump between different apps just to study one subject. Instead of making studying easier, it often created more work.
At first, Mindley was only going to be an AI note generator. But as I kept building and testing it, I realized that notes were only one part of the study process. Students also need to understand difficult topics, revise what they have learned, test themselves, and keep track of exams, assignments, and study sessions.
That is when Mindley became something bigger.
Now, students can upload their PDFs, presentations, documents, or images and turn them into notes, summaries, flashcards, quizzes, mind maps, and practice questions. They can also ask questions using an AI tutor that understands their uploaded material and organize their studies with the built-in calendar.
I built Mindley by myself, and the product has changed a lot along the way. I kept removing unnecessary things, improving the experience, and focusing on what would genuinely help students.
My goal with Mindley is simple: help students spend less time managing different study tools and more time actually learning.

the mind map view is genuinely cool, you know? being able to throw a dense PDF in and actually see how ideas connect visually makes studying feel way less painful than highlighting the same paragraph for the third time
The mind map view from a PDF is genuinely well executed, it pulls out the structure without making me dig through pages. Nice touch letting one source become flashcards and quizzes at the same time.
Would love to see a spaced repetition schedule built into the flashcards so it knows when to resurface tricky cards based on how well you actually remember them, kind of like Anki does automatically.
honestly love how clean the interface is, especially the way the notes and flashcards sit side by side without feeling cramped. makes the whole study flow actually feel usable instead of bloated with features you never touch.

Finally tried Mindley on a dense research PDF and the mind map view actually made the structure click for me. The flashcard auto-generation was hit or miss, but the active recall prompts felt surprisingly useful.
