Mimosa is a focused PDF reader built for Apple Pencil. Most PDF apps are either bloated with features you'll never touch, or too basic to actually mark up documents properly. Mimosa does three things well: read your PDFs, annotate them with real Pencil ink (plus text and shapes), and keep them organized in folders — including locked, password-protected files. Built solo, as part of the Leya Production app family, where every app does one thing right instead of everything at once.

I'm a student developer, and I built Mimosa because every PDF app I tried was either bloated with features I didn't need, or too basic to actually mark up documents properly with Apple Pencil.
Mimosa does three things well: read your PDFs, annotate them (text, shapes, real Pencil ink), and keep them organized in folders — including locked, password-protected files. That's it.
It's part of a small family of focused apps I'm building solo under Leya Production — each one built to do a single thing right, not everything at once.
