Clipboard managers have been the same for years. They store what you copy and let you paste it back. Mimic does that, but also lets you transform your clipboard before pasting. Powered by on-device Apple Intelligence, it understands what you copied and offers smart actions. No cloud, no setup, no privacy trade-offs.

I kept copying text just to paste it somewhere else, reformat it, clean it up, then copy it again. Constant back and forth between apps just to get content into the right shape. Mimic started as a way to collapse that into the clipboard itself. Copy once, transform it right there, paste what you actually need. Scratching my own itch that turned into a proper app.

Who hunted mimc?

mimc was hunted by George Alexiou. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
