milc is a desktop writing workspace that helps you improve text without copy-paste or switching apps. Highlight text in emails, Slack, Notion, docs, or anywhere you write, then use a shortcut or voice command to polish, shorten, translate, summarize, adjust tone, or reply faster. It is built for people who write every day and want small edits to feel lighter, faster, and more natural.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
We built milc for one simple reason: editing small pieces of text still feels too slow.
Most of the time, you already know what you want to say — you just need to make it clearer, shorter, more professional, or easier to read. But the usual flow means copying text, opening another tool, pasting it, editing it, then moving it back.
milc removes that friction.
Just highlight text where you are already writing, press a shortcut, or say what you want changed. milc can polish, rewrite, summarize, translate, adjust tone, or help with replies — right inside your workflow.
It is available for Mac and Windows, and we are still improving it with feedback from early users.
Would love to hear what you think.
