Hi Product Hunt — I’m Nhat, the maker of mikrokhoros.
The question behind this project is simple: how do we design something that lets agents exist in a world, understand what is around them, and act through clear rules?
mikrokhoros is an open source Swift runtime for persistent object worlds. Agents observe local state, act through bounded tools, face verified consequences, and leave replayable trajectories.
I open-sourced it because I hope people will build on the architecture, create objects and worlds for the community, and explore agent behavior step by step.
It is free to use under Apache-2.0 and remains pre-release. The current source includes the khoros CLI, a local Web interface, persistent worlds, verified action execution, replay, and an Object SDK.
I’d love to hear what objects you think should be part of default-khoros, and what kind of world you would build first.
