I’m Omar Olaes, the creator of AntiPlaylist—a unique radio experience built out of my frustration with platforms like Spotify, NTS, etc. As someone who thrives on discovering random, unexpected music, I wanted to create something that would help foster creativity through serendipitous listening.
AntiPlaylist is a product I developed in just a week using the tools: Next.js, Supabase, YouTube, Perplexity, and OpenAI for curating and fetching. It’s all about breaking away from curated playlists and algorithmic suggestions, giving you a truly random musical journey.
What’s next? I plan to enhance the app with more features, adding songs to genres, improving data collection, and expanding to more music genres.
