Mic Audio Level shows your input level in dB right in the menu bar. This can be helpful when you are doing recordings and your input level is unexpectedly set too high or too low. The app automatically detects the default input selected in your Sound settings.
I created this app after ruining two of my YouTube video recordings, realizing afterward that the input level of my mic was way too high. Of course, I had forgotten to check the sound level in the Sound Settings beforehand.
I thought, "How do I make sure this never happens again?" And I came up with this little app.
I'm planning to add more ways to display the audio level. I'm also open to ideas.
And I really hope it will save some of you the trouble of having to redo your recordings!
