I'm Bun, and I built MetricBase because my own team's "ops stack" was Notion + two spreadsheets + Telegram + a block explorer — and four subscriptions quietly auto-renewing in the background.
So I built one workspace for all of it: Kanban projects, chat, finance tracking that ties transactions to projects, field-operations analytics, and AI agents that join your workspace as actual teammates (with roles and permissions, not a chatbot sidebar).
Then I did something arguably insane with the pricing: there is no subscription. You burn $BASE — a Solana token — and the platform verifies the burn on-chain and credits your account. 100k for a month, bulk tiers at ~17% off, streak bonuses, referral rewards, and a public burn leaderboard with Bronze→Diamond badges.
Why? Because I think auto-renewing subscriptions are a quietly hostile pattern. A burn is the opposite: an explicit, irreversible choice you make every time, with a public receipt. And it aligns incentives — every month of access permanently reduces token supply, so users and holders want the same thing: a product worth burning for.
