In 2016, Ewerton faced a dire diagnosis—chronic kidney disease (CKD)—with a limited lifespan. Opting for a transformative journey, he sold everything, traveled extensively, and returned to Brazil amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Determined not to be defined by CKD, he utilized his IT background to analyze his health data but found conventional solutions lacking.
Undeterred, Ewerton became an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. A year later, the results were extraordinary: reducing medications from eight to one, shedding 37 kg, and improving kidney function. His journey culminated in the creation of MetaSano, an app encapsulating his insights.
