I built MetaPeek after realizing that checking a link preview meant juggling five different tools: X retired its Card Validator in 2022, Facebook's debugger needs a login, and almost nobody renders WhatsApp — where half the world actually shares links.
Paste a URL and you see the preview on nine platforms at once (X, WhatsApp, iMessage, LinkedIn, Facebook, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Bluesky), plus a checklist of what's broken and a copy-paste fix.
Two features I use daily myself:
• Paste-HTML mode — check staging/localhost pages that scrapers can't reach, before you deploy
• Cache helpers — when a platform shows a stale preview, one click takes you to the right re-scrape tool per platform
The checker is free, no login, no ads. What I'm really building: preview monitoring — get an alert when a deploy or CDN change silently breaks your og:image, before a customer tells you. Private beta waitlist is on the site.
