I'm George, the founder of merokam.
The idea came from a simple frustration Greek farmers were still finding seasonal workers through Facebook groups and word of mouth, while workers had no reliable way to signal their availability. It was chaotic for both sides.
So we built merokam: a platform where agricultural employers post jobs, workers declare their availability by region and season, and both sides connect instantly via SMS and email notifications. No middlemen, no endless searching.
We've also added a B2B marketplace for producers to sell directly to merchants, and a directory of agronomists because the agricultural sector deserves proper digital tools.
