Hi everyone, I built Meridian to solve the most expensive problem in day trading: relying on willpower. If you have been trading for a while, you know the feeling. Your strategy works, and your account grows, but one bad day of revenge trading can wipe out weeks of gains. Traders usually fail not because they lack an edge, but because human willpower eventually fails under pressure. Trading without a hard risk management system is like working on a skyscraper without a safety harness. So, I built one. Meridian is a native NinjaTrader 8 add-on. Unlike post-session journals that only let you regret the past, Meridian acts in the present. It is a real-time psychological stability monitor and automated risk enforcement system. Here is how it physically protects your capital: Real-Time Behavioral Tracking: It monitors 7 behavioral signals (e.g., revenge entries, widening stops, overstaying positions) directly from your live execution, combining this with cognitive science research to calculate a real-time Psychological Stability Index (PSI). Adaptive Baseline Learning: It analyzes your historical data—including trade holding time, profit-loss ratio, execution time, and re-entry timeframes—to adapt to your specific trading style. It gets more accurate the more you trade. Custom Guard Rules: You trigger the harness based on behavioral shifts (like a drop in your PSI) or hard metrics (consecutive losses, trailing drawdown, excessive session time). Tiered Interventions: You define how it steps in—from simple visual warnings to mandatory forced wait timers, or an automatic broker disconnect to physically lock you out. Intel Report & Composure Score: After the session, you receive a completely detailed report showing exactly how you traded, your PSI, specific executions, and every emotional shift that occurred. It correlates your discipline directly to your PnL, showing objectively whether you are profiting from following your plan or just pure luck. It also provides comprehensive trading statistics, ranging from daily metrics to weekly patterns and monthly trendlines.
