Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Leo, the founder of Menso. For the past six months I've been a full-time dad, and in my spare time I kept digging into Menso, building on feedback and interviews from our first users, because I want AI to be genuinely useful for UX work. Some of you saw Menso here in January as a persona research tool. It has been rebuilt since, and this is the new product.
What Menso does: AI users run real tasks on your live site and show where they get stuck, with a replay of every step. Paste a URL and pick a task, or let Menso read your page and write one. You get the AI user's think-aloud at every step, the friction it hit and a 0–100 TRACES score.
We use it in public, too. In September we started giving the week's top Product Hunt launches the same task and the same AI user: read the homepage, check pricing and the FAQ, decide whether to sign up. Scores, replays and our own review notes, including where our AI user got it wrong, are public at menso.io/product-hunt. Week 38: six launches, five scored between 64.5 and 83.5, one broke on our side.
So before asking you to try Menso, we ran the same test on menso.io: same task, same AI user, same 16 steps. We scored 85/100. The biggest friction came at step 3: our Free plan card says "100+ credits" with a separate daily sign-in bonus, so she had to leave the pricing page and read the docs and FAQ before the real monthly allowance was clear. The screenshots are from that run.
What it isn't: the AI user is not a real person, and one run is one session. Use it to catch friction before real people see your product, not instead of talking to them.
Free to start: the first 100 people to sign up after launch get 1,200 credits (a Fast test is 40) and 20 more each day you sign in, no card. Product Hunt code PRODUCTHUNT adds 600 credits for the first 100 people who redeem it.
