MemoryStore.in
Centerlized place to save and retrive Short-video content!
Hey everyone! 👋 I’m Yash, the founder of MemoryStore.in
The Problem:
Like many of you, I consume a lot of high-signal content via YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. But I kept hitting the exact same wall: I’d find a brilliant insight, assume I’d remember it, and a month later, it was completely lost to the algorithm. I searched everywhere for a dedicated system to categorize and retrieve this short-form media, but the perfect solution didn't exist.
The Solution & Evolution:
So, I built MemoryStore to act as a Second Brain for your digital media.
The development process required a massive architectural pivot. My first iteration actually relied on direct local downloading of the content. However, I quickly realized that approach wasn't scalable or compliant with major platforms. I completely scrapped that build and re-engineered the system from the ground up. The result is a streamlined, platform-compliant application that effortlessly catalogs your favorite content without the heavy overhead of local storage.
Save it once, find it instantly, and never lose track of a crucial piece of content again.
I’d love to hear your feedback on the platform, how you currently manage your media diet, or answer any technical questions about the pivot. I’ll be hanging out in the comments all day! 🚀
