I'm launching MemoritiAI today — a tool that turns anything (a prompt, a PDF, your own notes) into a flashcard deck you can actually study from.
The problem:
Every time I had an exam coming up, I'd spend hours just making flashcards before I could even start studying them. Copy a term, write a definition, copy the next term... by the time I had a usable deck, I'd already burned half my study time on formatting instead of learning. And the tools I tried either made flashcards that were too vague (generic AI prompts with no real source material) or required so much manual setup that I gave up halfway through.
The inspiration:
The turning point was realizing the best flashcards don't come from an empty prompt — they come from material you've already engaged with: your lecture notes, a textbook chapter, a PDF full of definitions. The AI's job shouldn't be to invent content from nothing; it should be to take what you already have and turn it into short, testable question-answer pairs. One card, one question, one checkable answer — nothing longer, because a wall of text on a flashcard just teaches you to skim, not recall.
What MemoritiAI does:
Upload a PDF/DOCX or paste your notes (or just write a prompt if you don't have a source yet)
Get a deck of clean, single-idea flashcards
Study them as a slide-style presentation — see the question, recall it, flip, mark "I know it" / "I don't", repeat
Export to a printable PDF once you're on a paid plan
