I have been working for about a year on this update and left Flutter to go full native Swift. This comes with a lot of benefits. Native feel, better performance and more features that make the Journaling expierence better in every aspect.
The local-first storage approach is a really thoughtful choice, especially for something so personal. Love that nothing leaves your device by default.
Tried it for a few days and the local-first storage is such a relief, nothing leaks to the cloud without me picking it. The mood tracker tied to entries feels surprisingly natural to log.

The local-first storage really stood out to me, feels good knowing my entries stay private on my phone. Also love snapping a quick photo with a thought and having it all saved in one place.
