Hey everyone, I’m Tarun, the person building Mellow!
I wanted a little pet that makes being at your computer more fun and can help when you need it. Mellow is a pixel-art dog you can talk to. It answers questions, helps you understand what’s on your screen, points things out, and helps with reminders, focus sessions, and meeting notes. You can choose the AI behind it, including running a local model. You can also use it purely as a desktop pet.
This has been a really fun project to build, and I’m excited to share it. If you try Mellow, I’d love to hear what you enjoy, what feels awkward, and what you’d want it to do next. The code is open source, and feedback and contributions are welcome!
