I built Meishi over a weekend because I was frustrated with how bloated and opaque most business card scanners feel.
The idea is simple:
→ Scan a card
→ Extract structured data
→ Sync it where you want (like Google Contacts)
What makes it different:
• You bring your own API key (OpenAI / Anthropic)
• Your data stays under your control
• It’s lightweight + open source
It’s still early, so I’d really love feedback—especially from people who scan a lot of cards or care about privacy + AI workflows.
