MeinKochbuch.app
Shared recipes, meal plans & grocery lists for households
Save recipes from any link, photo or text, drag them into your weekly plan and get a grocery list automatically. Share it with your partner, family or roommates so everyone sees the same list. Free forever, no ads, made in Germany.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Steffen, and I built MeinKochbuch because the same questions kept coming up every day: What are we eating tonight? Who's buying what? Do we already have this at home? Recipes were scattered across bookmarks, screenshots and handwritten notes, and our grocery list lived somewhere in a WhatsApp chat.
MeinKochbuch puts recipes, planning and shopping in one place, built for people who cook together:
- Import recipes from anywhere: paste a URL, snap a photo of grandma's handwritten recipe, or type it in
- Plan your week in minutes: drag dishes into your meal plan
- Grocery list builds itself from your plan, so nothing gets forgotten or bought twice
- Shared cookbooks: connect with your partner, family or roommates and stay in sync automatically
- Smart suggestions based on your taste and what's already in your pantry
It's completely free, has no ads, and needs no credit card. There's even a guest mode if you just want to try it.
Heads-up: the app is currently in German 🇩🇪. If you'd like an English version, let me know in the comments, because your feedback will decide what I build next.
I'd love to hear how you plan meals today and what drives you crazy about it. Thanks for checking it out! 🙏
