Media Converter for Devs
Convert media locally on Mac. No sign-in. No cloud.
A private, local-first Mac app for converting video, audio, and image files. Media Converter for Devs is a fast, local-first media conversion tool for macOS. Convert videos, audio files, images, and image sequences into developer-friendly formats without uploading your files anywhere. Drop files or folders into the app, choose an output format, and export clean assets for apps, games, websites, prototypes, and creative tools.
I built Media Converter for Devs as a small local-first Mac utility for converting video, audio, and image files without cloud uploads, accounts, or heavy editing software.
It started from my own dev/game asset workflow, but I think it can be useful for other developers, creators, and indie makers too.
I’d love your feedback, especially on which formats, presets, or export controls would make it more useful.
👉🏼🎁 Free Promo Codes: I also have a limited number of App Store promo codes for makers, developers, and creators who’d like to try it and share feedback. Feel free to DM me if you’d like one.
